Prerequisites
To sit for the PRINCE2 Programme Management Practitioner (MSP® 5th Edition) exam, you must first obtain the PRINCE2 Programme Management (MSP® 5th Edition) Foundation certification. This prerequisite ensures that you have a solid understanding of the MSP framework before advancing to the Practitioner level. When booking the Practitioner exam, you must provide verified proof of your MSP® Foundation certification, such as a certificate or a confirmation letter from PeopleCert. Failure to provide this may result in your exam results being withheld until the prerequisite is met.
Booking an exam where prerequisites apply
Please ensure that before you book an exam where a prerequisite is required, that you hold verified proof of completion of that prerequisite (i.e. certificate, or letter from PeopleCert confirming you hold a current certification). Your examination results will be withheld until the correct prerequisite is provided to PeopleCert. If you are unable to provide the required prerequisite, then you will need to successfully complete the prerequisite before the higher-level exam result is released.

Certification expiry date
Your PRINCE2 Programme Management certification will expire after 3 years. In order to maintain your qualification and ensure there are no gaps in your Practitioner status, you have three options:
1. Retake the PRINCE2 Programme Management Exam before the expiry date, or

2. PeopleCert Plus membership is the easiest, most cost-effective way to keep your certification current. Remain certified by logging Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points for everyday professional activities, stay up to date on industry trends, sharpen your skills, and set yourself apart in the job market, or
